MSI 5750 odd temps

hey guys.

im testing a MSI HD 5750 and i have used furmark to test the temps.

i tested it for about 20 minutes and the card reached 93º and the fans where at 60% so i used afterburner to force them to 100%.
Even with the fans at full power the temps where about the same, they where kept stable at 89º

I decided to close furmark and test it again, i was runing furmark normally and then this happened:

351

While normaly the temps should be around this:

574

that decrease in temperature is not normal....any advice on whats going on?

i noticed that the operating system is kinda buggy, any change it can be related to the temps registred?

thanks thumb.gif

Edit:
I forgot to mention that theres a variance of 10º from the temps registred by Furmark and MSI afterburner and GPUZ, the furmark temps being the lowest

Edit2: added 2nd image

ok just solved my problem , i still dont know why the dip in temperature happened but at least the card is not at 93º, now its stable at 77º.

to reduce the hight temperature i removed a PCI card that was under the 5750, and used some artic silver.

These are the results:

342
