But you wouldn't/shouldn't be robbing the main CPU/GPU combo. I was thinking like mini-cluster in one box use some of these to render and use the main to edit or the reverse. Just thinking out loud here..

**edit** heck you could even use it to apply filters, or batch process photos.

You can spin up/down cores as needed to save power.


Hosting a major website..... traffic varies throughout the month. Intel/AMD x86 CPUs can only idle so much to save power. With individual ARM CPUs you can idle the entire CPU instead of just cores.

The cores are too wimpy.... for such an intensive task, you are better off with brawny cores.

Tiny ARM cores aren't going to help with that, you can already just get multiple gpus and use gpu compute for renders. 3ds max already has it built in.
