needs to be longer than 15 minutes. i've had prime95 fail on my proc at 6 hours because my voltage was just a tad too low.

btw i hate to jack the thread like this, but how do you run 2 instances of p95 again on each core? just got my opty 165 in and gonna start workin on it.

Oh I know, but I was just saying, I hadn't even gotten that far before, so it's clearly running better than it has...

And to run 2 primes, just copy the prime folder, and make a copy of it...and then open it up from both folders..then set affintity to 0 on one, and 1 on the other.

and, you got the exact same stepping as I did.

You don't need to go through the trouble of setting affinity anymore, DL Orthos

right now on this stepping i'm running 2.8 @ 1.35v on the proc. stock chipset voltage.

I'm not familiar with the dfi boards but let me look at some links...I saw a thread somewhere that may help.

Bump it up a notch only if necessary to try to eliminate instability, one notch at a time.
