Not sure if serious wth.gif

Yea...I'm seriously confused. I want to see someone with a picture of a small mouse being used on a trackpad, and text on it that saying "You're doing it wrong".

Server OS is totally irrelevant: by your logic Linux is the best OS at everything (it IS wonderful for servers) and automatically has the top market share on desktop ... sorry to disappoint by Linux has even less market share on desktop than OSX and it's server dominance doesn't help all that much at becoming the #1 OS.

Would the picture be better if it had Steve Jobs in it?

I think most of this is due to the iphone/ipad. It makes sense to try and keep every electronic device you own within the same ecosystem as much as possible and we all know how many iphones/ipads are being sold. I know a lot of people who switched to OSX to get better compatibility with their iPhone. Sounds stupid but its true.

I just don't get the appeal of apple products. I had an iphone 4. The only thing I liked about it was the nice case construction but it is heavier than most phones. It is the only phone I have ever had that broke without ever being treated roughly. The power button stuck and all Apple did was offer a refurb replacement.

The hardware is identical. Sorry you can't accept that.

Hahaha XD

OT: Its pretty hard to make this argument valid when theres 500+ different "PCs" compared to 22 Macs.

Either mac sales has gone by 200% since 2004 or pc sales has gone down 66%. Most likely it's a combination, lets say pc makers lost a third a of their market share whilst Apple doubled theirs....
Maybe just maybe mac sales increased by 2000% and pc makers gained a measly 1800%...
No I'm sure that the total market volume has decreased because of small income household withdrawals, thus the share for entry machines has been eliminated...

"When iPhones, iPads and other mobile devices are factored in, Microsoft's advantage sits at about 2-to-1, Dediu said, and the two could break even within the next two years."

And if you count in ducks when doing tiger surveys tigers aren't close to extinction at all, in fact they are a very healthy avian migratory species.

"Just for the record"
If your web developing friend teases you for not runing a mac. he or she isn't a real friend.

They bought it because they were tricked into thinking it will never break, or get a virus. And due to the price they instantly think they're getting the "best".

I'm sorry for the OT but that is like the greatest avatar I've ever seen!!! LOL!

I'm so glad you brought that up. That is exactly the demographic Mac has advertised to.
