1 crosshair had a dead Ethernet port the other wouldn't even post and it looked like some one had it before and RAM's it it had finger prints every where the board wasn't even straight it was curved . when those boards came out they had high DOA rate. I'm just happy newegg was very helpful!

And thank you! I love it very much. The girlfriend hates it tho. lol

Wow, they deserve an earful. NewEgg has gotten quite disappointing over the years.

a mosfet blew. it smelled like the whole thing was burning into flames. lol it was amazing to see that it couldn't handle a simple overclock.

yeah their products have not been the best lately. But I love how quickly they would try to fix things to keep you happy. They have amazing deals almost every week. It's tempting not to buy. When it comes down to buying expensive items I always look their way just in case. But apparently its third times the charm and it hasn't failed me for almost a year. I'm a happy camper.smile.gif

You right, it isnt neweggs fault. Asus just made a real bad first batch. But when you get a good one their products work wonders!
and I love the fx 8120. I can multitask with out a stutter. i can have facebook and youtube open while streaming music thru spotify all while playing masseffect 3 or BF3.
AMD really has the best bang for the buck! I'm really hopping to see the piledriver perform 20% increase ove the first gen of the FX chips.
people say this chip was a fail. yet its performs much better them my 1090t did. So I'm very happy to support the underdog and get good performance!
Sure its not a i7 but for half the price its the best bang for the buck.thumb.gif
