Smallest ivy/sandy bridge mobo?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a super small motherboard that won't break the bank. I am going to fit it in a custom built casing, and would like it to be as small as possible. I'm looking for something along these lines:
  • Intel Ivy/Sandy Bridge
  • Must have DVI or HDMI out
  • External PSU(similar to a giant 12v wall wart)
  • PCIe / miniPCIe expansion slots to add wifi/bluetooth(if not built in)

So far, I have seen this: http://www.quanmax.com/product/product_detail.aspx?pd_root_type=3&pd_type=8&pd_id=147
It is a mobo the size of a 3.5" hard drive, with a sandy bridge socket. Unfortunatley, however, it costs about $200 for the mobo alone.

Does anybody else know of any other good motherboards that are smaller than the standard 170x170mm mini ITX motherboard?

Sounds like you need an ultrabook motherboard.

The closest you'll find is Thin-ITX if you want to meet the "Ivy/Sandy" requirement.

Intel-DH61AG-45-600x400.gif?1341878537721

Same size as an mITX board but much slimmer.

If you want to go into embedded options, we can then get much much smaller (Nano-ITX, Pico-ITX, etc).

well, I'm not ruling anything out just yet, so where else can I find some embedded or ultrabook Mobos? The only thing I could find was that KEEX-6100 mentioned above

I am not sure what you need it for, but there are tons of sub-mITX boards here.
