I'm not the type to complain. Not usually. Not unless it gets pretty bad. But I've reached my breaking point, and feel the need.
May 13th, 2012, I ordered a bunch of AquaComputer stuff. All told, its about $1,000 dollars worth of stuff. And yes, a few of the items clearly indicated a lead time of 10 days production. I was ok with that. So....was it annoying that it didn't ship until June 13th? Yes. But I'm not even the type to complain about that. Was just happy that my stuff was finally on the way. Much later than had been suggested....but on the way.
Well....its July 9th now. And my stuff is not here. Where is it? No one seems to know. I have a tracking # from DHL, but the status just shows that it left Germany. The online tracking says it sat about a week in the export parcel center, and then left Germany on June 20th. Still not here. No updates on the online tracking.
So I email DHL and ask about the package. They confirmed that the item was outside of normal transit time. But they said that I can't do anything about it.....only the sender can inquire about the package. They suggested that I contact AquaComputer and ask them to open a formal inquiry. Ok. So I email AquaComputer and give them all the same information. They politely tell me that they can't really do anything about it either, and that they have had problems with DHL and that there must be a big backlog right now.
This does not sit well with me. So I email both DHL and AquaComputer on the same email, so that they both understand that I'm trying to kickstart getting this solved. I tell them that at this point.....simply waiting further to "see what happens" is not acceptable. They either need to locate the package and give me a time frame for delivery, resend a new package, or cancel the order. I don't really care which at this point.
I don't dislike AquaComputer products. On the contrary....until they finally arrive I have no first hand experience. And I don't want to discount the positive experience that someone else may have had with Aqua. I'm sure they get everything right sometimes also. But my experience has not been good. And its how companies react when things go wrong....that tells you something about the company. I've been paitent...but I'm not happy. So I'm going to start daily updates here until my issue is solved. Would love to hear other people's experience with Aqua....whether positive or negative. It's been:
57 days since I paid for these products
26 days since they were shipped
Still have not received products....no one can tell me where they are....and no one is offering any solutions other than to wait longer.
