Good grief, man, get your money back from the CCC if you can and tell AquaComputer to take a flying leap.
I'm pretty patient with shipping issues, but Aqua's lack of help from the get go tells me they just don't care. You would think with the majority of the world's economy in the state it's in that vendors would be keen to please customers, but we all know that is not true.

I can see there are two companies I will never be dealing with.

I just had a small parts shipment come from Hong Kong in about 5 days "airmail". Tracked it all the way via good old USPS. Expensive shipping? Hell yes. On time? Absolutely.

Yes, I hear you. In the time SINCE I ordered from Aqua, I've received packages from Hong Kong, England, and other packages from Germany. Yet Aqua is insisting that I wait months so that DHL can certify that its lost. Seems like they could be doing something to take care of me, their customer, while they play the wait game with DHL. I don't understand why they can't seem to comprehend that notion.

I would contact either Port Newark or the Elizabeth Marine Terminal, since most stuff will come from there if you are receiving it from Europe.

Edit: more info for you http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/ports/nj/4601.xml

Daily update. It's been:

66 days since I paid for these products
35 days since they were shipped

Still have not received products....neither DHL nor Aqua can tell me where they are. AquaComputer is refusing my request to either resend the items or refund my money. The only solution being offered is to wait longer. They say if DHL will confirm that they lost the package, then my money will be refunded, and that it will take up to two more months.

I paid through PayPal, but had the money funded through my credit card with Bank of America.

PayPal Status -- I have filed a dispute, and escalated it to a claim. PayPal has contacted AquaComputer, who responded by providing the DHL shipment tracking page showing that they sent the package. That seems to be AquaComputer's story....they sent it, so its not their problem. The same DHL tracking also shows that it has never been scanned in America, only Germany, and there have been no updates to the tracking for a month. Waiting on PayPal for the next step.

Credit Card Status -- I have filed a dispute with Bank of America for the $1,200 in transactions with AquaComputer, indicating that all of the AquaComputer charges were for items that have not been received, and that seller is unwilling to refund my money or resend the shipment. BofA opened up a claim immediately and said they would contact the merchant. They were unclear as to whether this would be PayPal or AquaComputer. Waiting on BofA for the next step.

Well, it's sort of done.

I just have to resolve the issues that I have with my ASUS MAXIMUS IV motherboard (using my old one right now) and find a 3.5 inch front drive. I still can't decide on that.

Wow I'm really sorry this still hasn't worked out for you. I'm really surprised at how badly AC has handled this. As it turns out I'm in a similar, although less expensive, boat as you. I placed my order for two AC 670 blocks in June, they were shipped on 7/3 and the tracking has not updated since 7/4, where it was at the German Export Center. Upon contacting DHL I was of course not given any more information other than the expected shipping time was 6 business days, and that my shipment is indeed overdue. They also told me to contact the sender, as only the sender could initiate an investigation. I'm not nearly as patient as you, and after reading through this thread I'm even less inclined to give AC the benefit of the doubt. I payed through Paypal with my Discover card, if this is not resolved by the 40th day from my payment, I will be filling a claim with both Paypal and Discover. If I receive the same back and forth BS, where AC refuses to accept responsibility for using an unreliable carrier I won't even wait that long. It is totally unacceptable how they have treated you, and I'm not expecting any better treatment. I wish you the best of luck! thumb.gif

Here is a copy of the email I sent AC, and PM'd to Shoggy.

Hello,
It has been over three weeks since my order has shipped, and three weeks since the tracking has updated and I have yet to receive my order. I have contacted DHL (their response below), and was told the package should have only taken around six business days. They also told me only the sender could initiate an investigation, so I beg of you to please contact DHL and have them start an investigation.

"General running time for your parcel is 6 business days.

As your parcel is overdue by now please contact the sender of your parcel and ask him to start an investigation.
Do you have any further questions? "

I have been following this thread on OCN (http://www.overclock.net/t/1279981/my-aquacomputer-experience) since the start, and I'm already quite disappointed with how your company has handled this other customer's problem. I can assure you, I will not be as patient as he has been, if you will not work with DHL to try and find my package I will be filling a claim immediately with Paypal and Discover. If you respond telling me to contact DHL, and that it is solely their responsibility to make this right, I won't even wait to file a claim. Only the SENDER can initiate the investigation, and as a merchant it is YOUR responsibility to use a reliable carrier. Since you have already failed to use a reliable carrier, it is now YOUR responsibility to take the burden of that mistake, not your customers. Save yourself the time and money, and please actually HELP to resolve this issue. All I ask is for you to contact DHL and initiate an investigation. If they indeed have lost the package, they will not admit to it, and I will not sit around and wait for them to do nothing. I have 45 days from payment to file a claim with paypal, if this is not resolved or I am not satisfied with your help with this matter I will be filing a claim on the 40th day. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I just read this entire thread and I have to say It reads like a good Horror Novel. cpachris, you sir have the patience of a Saint. After reading what you have been thru it is crystal clear to me that AC has no respect for there customers and fail to understand that without guys like us they would not be in business. Best of luck to you and Hopefully B of A straightens it for you.

LOL. Pretty sure AQ has lost more than $1200 in business from this post. Hope it was worth it to 'em to stick it to you, cpachris.
