Actually I'm more or less halfheartedly planning a loop for my rig too. Initially I was after some Heatkiller stuff but this thread made me look elsewhere. A little more XSPC can't hurt tongue.gif

This $2500 loop isn't just the loop parts but other components as well no?

Keeping my fingers crossed that you get your issues solved soon. This 8 weeks delay before something is really considered lost wasn't on DHL's site so this took me quite by surprise.

I read "my friend is building a watercooling loop worth around $2500" and immediately thought "just the water cooling components". It could be the whole system though...

I've put aside some time tomorrow to log more phone time, with PayPay, Bank and customs office's. It just take so much time to do it on the phone. Paypal doesn't provide an opportunity to extend past 45 days online.

Nope. But he did say it takes two weeks usually.

Aquatuning actually has shipped my order already, and I have a tracking number. So....they are off to a much better start than Aquacomputer. I'll let you know if I actually get the stuff.

Good luck with your package! I hope you get it soon smile.gif

Thanks. There has to be some better options for AquaComputer than DHL.

Daily update. It's been:

67 days since I paid for these products
36 days since they were shipped

Still have not received products....neither DHL nor Aqua can tell me where they are. AquaComputer is refusing my request to either resend the items or refund my money. The only solution being offered is to wait longer. They say if DHL will confirm that they lost the package, then my money will be refunded, and that it will take up to two more months for that to happen.

I paid through PayPal, but had the money funded through my credit card with Bank of America.

PayPal Status -- I have filed a dispute, and escalated it to a claim. PayPal has contacted AquaComputer, who responded by providing the DHL shipment tracking page showing that they sent the package. That seems to be AquaComputer's story....they sent it, so its not their problem. The same DHL tracking also shows that it has never been scanned in America, only Germany, and there have been no updates to the tracking for a month. Waiting on PayPal for the next step.

Credit Card Status -- I have filed a dispute with Bank of America for the $1,200 in transactions with AquaComputer, indicating that all of the AquaComputer charges were for items that have not been received, and that seller is unwilling to refund my money or resend the shipment. BofA opened up a claim immediately and said they would contact the merchant. They were unclear as to whether this would be PayPal or AquaComputer. Waiting on BofA for the next step.

Sounds like you have done the right thing here. I Think that BofA will clear this up and get you your money back in a timely manner. Until then...buy EK or Phobya.

But be careful, buying direct from EK they also ship with DHL. Here in the U.S., DHL more or less routinely has terrible service.

Demand a cancellation/refund in full and either have them make a new shipment with a different carrier or just buy something else from a different vendor with your full refund. With phones and internet communications, there is no reason they cannot tell you exactly where it is within minutes of searching.

My demand for either a refund, or re-shipment of products from Aquacomputer, was refused. I have gone ahead and purchased the items from Aquatuning (not AquaComputer), and so far the experience has been pretty good. I ordered on Monday, and right now I have a UPS tracking number that says it will be delivered on Monday. That's 5 business days. The package has just left Cologne, Germany, so its at the point where my AquaComputer order got lost. Will update everyone soon on status. But I'm hopeful. Only problem is since I have still been refused a refund from AquaComputer, I have spent another $1,000 + to get the items I originally ordered back in May.

If you like EK...Aquatuning sells those blocks also. They get their stuff from Germany to your door in the US in 48 hours. 48 hours! And guess how much shipping cost me with Aquatuning? $8 bucks.
