Yes...temporary reversal of charges. But until its resolved I don't feel like I've gotten the funds back. I think they reverse them immediately for anyone that calls.

Already ranks pretty high with the right search words. thumb.gif

Does DHL actually do the door delivery? They pass off to the USPS for the Aquacomputer stuff.

That's important. That let's Aqua know that you are serious and you have recourse. Just make sure you file that affidavit and send it back to the CC.

Wondering though, will that be enough?

Just to tell my experience here, DHL takes a lot of time till they deliver you the package. Mine took over a month and the destination was not so far away. Eventually, the package came and no they do not do the door delivery themselves. The sad part is, it's Ek Supreme HF and now is flaking after one year sadsmiley.gif .

If Aqua does nothing, the chargeback will stay. They have a certain amount of time by the CC to fix the situation. If they ignore the CC, the chargeback stays. Aqua will have to provide reasons why what? The buyer cannot have their stuff? There's nothing Aqua can say to not give the money back, short of actually delivering what was in the contract.

Note: I am not affiliated with any of these companies.

cpachris, you have got to look at this from their perspective. Their perspective is that they're on the verge of losing $1200 worth of equipment because of a bad shipping company and they can't afford to use another one. They are basically throwing $1200 down the sink. If there's a sliver of hope, theyll take it over losing $1200. I don't think they will lose $1200 worth of buisness, but if so there's nothing they can do about it now.

Just my second two cents.

The $1,200 worth of equipment probably 'cost' them less than $500 bucks. So they could have sent the whole shipment to me again, kept me happy, avoided any bad publicity, not been 'out' any money, and still dealt with DHL on their own time. 2cents.gif

This is why I shop at jab-tech first. I had a rad crunched by Fedcrap and jab-tech sent me a new one and then they dealt with Fedcrap.

That is exactly how it should be handled. And in the long run....its better for jab-tech (or Aqua) that way also, because they develop a reputation for great customer service, which leads to repeat business and more sales.

Exactly, its Aquacomputer's job to deal with the service THEY chose to use for delivery. Maybe they'll get smart and stop using DHL
