I'll definitely not be buying AC products due to this.

There are some things that AC offers that no other company has anything even close to; for instance, the Aquaero has no peer. AC is also known for having high quality products, but it's a shame they will not cater to their customers when something goes awry. What they should have done is re-sent the order and taken care of the problem themselves against their own shipping partner: it is not the customer's duty to make sure that everyone between the factory and customer does their job to get the product that was paid for.

OCN is a fairly well-traveled site and this thread is already 20 pages long within 1 week and has almost 5500 views; it is also the 6th result when googling for Aquacomputer. I believe AC would do well to realize their mistake, apologize, make amends, and fix their internal processes for any similar future issues. Their ineptitude for handling the situation properly has already, clearly, resulted in loss of future sales.

It took 3 days to get me my AP15s, all 8 of them last time I ordered from AT and I'm in Cali. wink.gif

Rofl, that's a few days faster than PPCS and they're in Fl.

Still have not received products....neither DHL nor Aqua can tell me where they are. AquaComputer is refusing my request to either resend the items or refund my money. The only solution being offered is to wait longer. They say if DHL will confirm that they lost the package, then my money will be refunded, and that it will take up to two more months for that to happen. DHL's normal service time is 6 days. Do you think it might be lost?
I paid through PayPal, but had the money funded through my credit card with Bank of America.
PayPal Status -- I have filed a dispute, and escalated it to a claim. PayPal has contacted AquaComputer, who responded by providing the DHL shipment tracking page showing that they sent the package. That seems to be AquaComputer's story....they sent it, so its not their problem. The same DHL tracking also shows that it has never been scanned in America, only Germany, and there have been no updates to the tracking for a month. Waiting on PayPal for the next step on this claim. Update...Paypal sent email yesterday saying that they had received a chargeback from Bank of America, and they gave me instructions on what to do if the chargeback was a mistake.
Credit Card Status -- I have filed a dispute with Bank of America for the $1,200 in transactions with AquaComputer, indicating that all of the AquaComputer charges were for items that have not been received, and that seller is unwilling to refund my money or resend the shipment. BofA opened up a claim immediately and said they would contact the merchant. They were unclear as to whether this would be PayPal or AquaComputer. Waiting on BofA for the next step. Update....I have received a temporary reversal of the charges while they do their investigation with PayPay.
Aquatuning Status -- Reordered this stuff from Aquatuning last week since I need to move forward, and will find out tomorrow if Aquatuning can really take it from Germany to your doorstep in the US...in two business days. Will be quite impressive if it actually arrives tomorrow.

Heres to hoping! Sounds great!
Finally getting your stuff.
But that also makes me wonder, if you already paid for it the first time... you just had the same amount lying around a second time? :| lol

Wow. For the record, I resigned my position with that company after a disagreement with the board, but I guess the end result is all the same.

I was paid a large amount of cash when I stepped down from previous employment. That's what has given me the ability to take some time off work and spend it working on a fun computer build.

Good to hear. Hope mine is as fast. It actually took 7 weeks sitting in German customs when AquaComputer shipped this via DHL, and I'll think I'll have it delivered to my door step by Aquatuning in less than 1/2 that time.

No, I remember your icky stalking session well,....its your newly created suggestion that I was fired that I find irritating. I mean, "AFAIK" you are a recently released from prison child molester who now stalks on computer forums.....but I have the manners not to suggest that in the forums since all I have are my suspicions. wink.gif
