Asus GTX 680 TOP BIOS

Thread Starter
The one listed at techpowerup.com is wrong, I flashed my regular DC2 680 to the bios from that site and its actually the same bios thats already on my card so what they have listed is incorrect info.

Anyone know where I can get the Asus Top Bios? I have searched and searched but cannot find anything. Thanks in advance.

I have two asus top 680s. Could I somehow give you (by saving it somehow and upload it for you to be able to flash to) my bios?

GTX 670-680 uses Nvflash 5.117.0.1

http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2128/mirrors.php

Using a USB flash drive you need HP USB storage format tool and win98boot found on the internet.
1st you use HP format and create a DOS startup on the USB drive then select win98boot files on it then hit start and let it format.

Once it's done you put the Nvflash and CWSDPMI files along with the BIOS.rom you want to flash on the USB and restart you computer and bootup on the USB, then type the commands.

Here are a few commands,

If you just want to back it up type,
nvflash -b backup.rom (This backs up your cards factory BIOS on the USB then restart without the USB)

If your flashing a new bios on your card,
nvflash -4 -5 -6 name.rom (Forced BIOS Flash)

I flashed my 680's, Talk to Saltius over at mvktech.net he can customize them but first find out what your card runs at best and he can set it to your max stable over clock on core, memory, voltage, fan, ect.. I had him set the 680ftw 4gb after I watercooled them to 1163 base and 1229 boost. They run at 1250 playing BF3 max setting and they are stable as can get, I've played BF3 3-4hours straight a few times it runs as smooth as silk, No shutter in SLI at 2560x1600, 38C is my max temp wink.gif Anyhow Saltius hex edits the bios, he has done a bunch of cards for different people.. everyone has been real happy with them And I don't have 3rd party program running in the back ground like, precision or afterburner overclocking them...

Does Nvflash 5.117.0.1 work the same as the other versions? Where you just put the bios in the same Nvflash folder and open the exe.?
Also what version of gpuz is needed to rip the bios? I have the latest and it saying "bios reading not supported on this device".

USFORCES the version of nvflash you link doesn't work with 64bit. Or is it because I don't yet have a bio in the folder so I'm getting an error?
