i don't think the g400 is a good choice regarding his preferences.

2. What's your sensitivity? I use 3500 dpi on the deathadder

afaik the sensor of the g400 works best up to 800 dpi and gets worse above that dpi setting.

Then the only other choices is the Death Adder or maybe the CM Spawn

I really like the Storm Spawn but it get's a bit jittery at 3500 dpi. Incredibly smooth at 1800 dpi. The feet glide oh so smooth. That's why I hate my G400. Trying to move the G400 across any surface is like trying to move 80 grit sandpaper across concrete.

Tt eSPORTS THERON might be another option.

I know this might be a wild idea, so please sit down before you read further

Ready?, this might blow your mind, so i need to be sure you read it, please sit down..

Ok.. here goes

You know, you could always lower your dpi, and move that windows slider away from 1/11 to 6/11 so that you wont lose any speed or accuracy, actually, youd prolly gain some accuracy redface.gif)

I've switched from high DPI mice to low DPI mice and vice-versa. You need to hike up the in-game sensitivity. If you're getting a new mouse you have to adjust to things such as physical shape, how the feet slide and the sensor; not to mention how much just changing your mousepad/surface will affect your experience.

This confuses me. If you're leaving your mouse on 1/11 you're automatically setting yourself up for failure - this creates a negative acceleration. You should ALWAYS leave your windows mouse sensitivity slider at 6/11 and ALWAYS turn "Enhance pointer precision" off.

From my experience the best results come from finding the most stable DPI, leaving windows slider at 6/11, turning enhance pointer precision off and only adjusting in-game sensitivity.

He was being sarcastic. My only beef with the DA is that if you want to on the fly dpi switching you have to give up the side buttons (I use them for weapon swapping)

One more vote for the G400 here. I play most of the game's OP listed and use a finger tip grip, great mouse track's amazing.

I'm happy with my m60, came from a Logitech mx518. Best thing I have to say is its build quality, so solid and glides across the mouse pad very smooth. I got it on sale but was also looking into a cooler master spawn. There are a ton of good mice out there.

Successful troll is successful...

Anyways, how does anyone use on the fly DPI? I disable those buttons b/c I find the feature incredibly annoying. I just can't figure out how I could use it.

not really, you both read it wrong :]

I said change it FROM 1/11 to 6/11, and lower the dpi to match the speed, Im going to assume the only reason op uses 3500 dpi is because he thinks the mouse is more accurate there, even if he has to lower his windows sens to make it usable, because, 3500dpi with 6/11 win sens is just.. insanely fast
