How's this build looking [note: intel will not be listened to at all] - Page 2

Isn't the Phenom II 1100T more powerful than the FX-6100?

Also, I have not heard great things about the OCZ modstream series. How about a Seasonic M12II or a Corsair TX series?

He's gonna have to have a windows key to upgrade to Windows 8 Can't just have the pre release.

The 7770 only beats a 6870 in Kookoo Baquwardzo World.

agree about ssd
and of corse the 7770 will not preform as well as the 6870
but the pwr consumption vs preformance vs later upgrading etc is an issue
I wrestle with idea about 6870 vs 7770 in the end I decided 7770 b/c of a couple reasons
1) the power requirements
2)7770 requires 1x6-pin 6870 require 2x6-pin
3)7770 CF would be possible with current psu (as far as i know) and CF 6870 is not

the 1100T is better in game to my knowledge not as good though in editting programs, also 1100T is no longer produced,
When PD comes out I suspect that its ingame preformance will be much better then the DB 6100
would you have any reading/test to show this about the PSU? or any price comparison to the brands suggested?

BAh! OCZ is fine. Same as the others you listed. Just go with whatever major brand is on sale/rebate when you make the purchase.

The 1100T seems to be pretty above the FX-6100 in most applications, and in many games it beats the FX-8150.

I found this review of a modstream PSU a while ago:
http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/ocz_mxs_pro_600w/7.htm
Quote:
Failure to verify 80 Plus compliance using the OCC Testing Methodology
Borderline DC quality

The Seasonic M12II 620W was about $70 on Newegg last time I checked.
I got a Corsair TX 650 for $80

The pricing mostly depends on whether it's on sale.

Phenom being better in game then FX is kinda old news aint it? also plz find me a 1100 t that is anywhere close to the price of 6100. $140(newegg) $119(microcenter)
agian I state we will prolly wait untill pile drive to buy in which case the FX-6 core will probably be better but that is pure speculation at this point

Why is this particular ram so suggested?? what's so special about it? will there be heat issues at all since its no heatsinked?
