Which video card to get

Thread Starter
Hi im wondering which video card to get im primary a gamer and i play on a 1920x1080 res Single screen. Im upgrading from a 4890 smile.gif it still max max payne 3 and other similar game.

I dont want to overkill, i want something that will last for the next 2 years with game fully maxed.

Those are my current personal choices.
1 -gtx 480 for 200$
2- 7870 for 300$
3- 7890 not out yet
5- gtx 660 ti not out yet

Dont want to waste more then 350$

Im willing to wait maybe 2 months for the newcomers 660 ti and 7890 if they come out in that range. TY thumb.gif

The gtx 670 is on sale on various sites for under $400 and would be worth every penny compared to other cards for price/performance.

Also upgraded from a 480 super overclock and bought a gigabyte gtx 670 oc, Difference is night and day in terms of noise & heat, Games are certainly smoother and faster. Nice upgrade overall and the gtx 480's still sell for good $$$

No pont in spending 300 bucks on HD 7870 when you can get a HD 7950 for as low as USD 340

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127667

This card is the best high end card price perf wise in the market. It overclocks well and is close to HD 7970 clock for clock. thumb.gif
