Lol, my bad you are right, then I not sure, i've tried to find some benchmark about the A6-3430MX (which seems to be the apu in the hp) but i cant find good ones

haha np man, at least you searched for it...

btw is it possible to have laptop covers, in order to hide the "flowery" design?

On other forums, i have seen people conplaining about A10 CPU which is an upgrade over A6 CPU. Is it a bad cpu? because people are saying that the performance should equal an i3 whereas i7 is far superior over i3.
nah it's decent, a I3 is actually a decent chip aswell. i think everyone here answered your question with good points.

the I7 will be faster in general but the graphical performance sucks really, the A6 is a decent quad core so it'll get the job done where it counts and has crossfire graphics so it'll power all games on high or medium which is impressive. smile.gif now here's the kicker though make sure the A6 is coupled with 1866mhz Memory or 1600mhz if it has 1333mhz you be holding it's performance back highly, the I7 doesn't have this constrain....

actually, i went out today and was looking at other laptops around within the same price range and i came across a couple of A8 (1.9 - 2.5 ghz) with HD 7690m so yeah i guess amd quad cores are coming with some really good gfx cards.

Go for the Toshiba, it is far better than the Hp all-around, better core, the dedicated graphics are fine (2GB) and should be more than enough compared to the A6, and the added ram is great as well

Is this coming from a brand loyal person or does it involve personal experience because i've had an i5 laptop for more than 6 months now and it didn't over heat at all..

EDIT: actually i'm confused more now than before because half of the people favor the HP one and half, the toshiba one...

best not to have that questioned on brand loyalty then it becomes a debate. i got a HP Compaq which has the same wattage as the A6 and it doesn't overheat because i've taken good care of it and give it plenty of airflow which is what should be done in the first place my dad has a intel laptop same result:o
