Bradley, i have updated the drivers and chipset and run a virus scan, as well as running scannow from the command prompt as directed in the FAQ

I am pretty sure i know how to update the firmware but if you want to link or type out a quick how to i will reference it to make sure im doing it properly smile.gif

Exactly why I think it is the firmware issue! lol he M4 had a BSOD issue once the power on time = 5184 hours. It would BSOD and cause the select proper boot device error about every hour. Then the user can reboot and everything is normal.

Instructions on updating the firmware are in the link I posted as well.

i got home from work, installed the new firmware and went to sleep.

its about 4 hours later and when i got up my computer had not crashed yet. Before it was doing it every hour or two, and so it seems like that update fixed it.

thanks for all the help!
