Has it got a decent Phase Change unit or is it old? Back when I was doing research on it (a while ago) older units like this can't hold much ground against modern CPU's. Although I could be wrong, and you obviously know a lot more about it than me.

Stock the unit is rated by the manufacture to be able to handle 240w at -20c which is ok for a 5Ghz 2500/2600k
I might message a few friends on Benchtec and look into getting it regassed and tuned at some point with r507, stock these units run r404 iirc.
Also got the exact same set up in Silver on the way, it's been used a lot more then this unit and needs some tidying up, phase unit on it though has been re-gassed with r507.
Still only paid £60 for it so can't complain too much really
