How do I update my bios to work with an AMD X8 890FX-GD70

My current bios it 1.9 and it wont work with my 8 core and there is a newer update to make it work but I don't know how and MSI's flashing tools currently are not working for me. how do you do it?

MSI Live Update 5 works great for updating the BIOS. You need to check what rev your board is, that might be the problem.
