I have a 8800GTS 512MB but it uses the same chip as your sample. I measured 14.9OHM.
Hope it helps =)
Better wait for for more reply's before you jump to conclusion

The problem is that they are in-circuit. Other resistors, capacitors and semiconductors in the circuit can interfere with the reading. To get a true reading, the resistor must be out-of-circuit (at least one side disconnected).

Of course what you can do is take the 14.9 Ohm measurement from the known good card, then measure the resistance across the points on the card with the missing resistor (where the resistor should be connected), and calculate the value of resistor that should be there smile.gif That should give a close approximation.

Good point RandomOwl
There are 2 resistors on my GTS.... http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x100/The1337Knife/vmod.jpg the 2 black ones.
I'll unsolder both and give you the readings.
One is 11OHM and the other is almost 500OHM. The 500OHM is under the Vmod point (the empty dot for solder)
So my guess is you're missing a 500OHM resistor.

xD, guttered. I don't have the ideal components at the moment but I tried a trim pot for the 110Ohm resistor and two 1kOHM resistors in parallel for the 500OHM. the pc boots but no picture, had a look at the vmeasure and was reading like 0.07v or something. So tomorrow I might go get some proper resistors for the job.

VRs are the best! 500OHM and if it's too much just lower the resistance to get your desired voltage. Why am I even telling you this, you already know thumb.gif

thats the thing, i varied but saw no change. maybe I need to look under the glue and check connections.
