my 558 broke, Need a new one

So my sennheiser 558 which I was really happy with broke.. I need a new one.

I am looking at the sennheiser 598 which I can get for 150 euro.
I am also looking at the AD700 which I can get for 100 dollars from e-bay.
What's important to me is that I wont go down in quality.

I only use headphones for gaming and watching movies. No music.


I have a normal creative Titanium , I am wondering if that soundcard is too weak of a source for the 598

Ofc its not to weak.
The hd598 are my #1 ever since I got them.
But I heard that for pure gaming the AT AD700 / 900s are insanely good.
Haven't tried those myself so all I can tell you for a fact is that you can't go wrong with the HD598s.
