[ Review & Tests ] Crossover 27Q LED-P Pivot Edition & Gallery with Apple Cinema Display - Page 2

Is there led-p glass version?

Also is there problems with the stand not fully rotating to 90 degrees? I saw a negative feedback on eBay about that.

Thanks

Crossover - metal frame.
Catleap - plastic frame.
If you plan to just get one, no need for pivot and don't care about the built quality except the display. Catleap $300 at your cheapest option. $30-$50 more if you want a super solid metal frame. From what I see, Crossover has less DOA / Problems than Catleap. Not the fact it has less people buying it. Both monitors are popular and according to my research on all the seller. All I see most Negative on Catleap model.
This is also one reason I went with Crossover.

Updates on the Input Lag.

Does anyone know why my Crossover framerate shuttering on normal desktop? For example, drag my browser and move around the screen on dual monitors.

GPU? Cables?

Okay, the monitor framerate shutter is gone if disable 1 screen.

Scrap that.... it was my Rainmeter...

Updates #2: Which is best for gaming? Crossover (+ less reflection)

Really nice review of the monitor. Very well put together.

I own one of these monitors and it has 1 dead pixel, but it doesn't bother me.

Nice pictures biggrin.gif

Anyway, I bought one not too long ago and it occasionally flickers as if the refresh rate goes down. I hope it's due to PSU and not the monitor.

Any clue, guys? I've contacted the seller and he said shoot a video of it and show it to him. It happens randomly. How would I catch it on a video? Also, the PSU whines a bit. Can you confirm if your does too?

In the old days, flickering and FPS issue would be your GPU. I think your GPU is working really hard for this monitor resolution. What is your GPU anyways?

Mind to post your PC spec? thumb.gif

btw, no I have no flickering whatsoever. It runs like perfectly even I had it on for 168 hours (7 days) straight without powering it down.

I have GTX 460 SE 1GB.

The flickering mostly happens after the monitor wakes up from the sleep mode. But, the other day I was playing GTA 4 and it flickered for about 5-7 seconds and then all good.

I have no clue what causes it though. Could it be the PSU?

I used my brother's GTX 560 Ti and the issue still persists. <_< I even used 2 different D-DVI cables.

I've sent a short clip to the seller and hopefully I can get something. He was very kind about the issue.

EDIT: I filled up the specs page, but it doesn't show up here???

Yo-

Excellent review - informative - great comparisons - short, sweet and to the point.

Reflects my experience with my CrossOver 27Q over the last two months of ownership.

Thank you for the time and efforts you expended to produce such a fine review.
