This is the lowest I've seen it so I ended up ordering it...which I think is a solid price for an eIPS screen...thought about the catleaps but I don't think it is worth the gamble, stress, and hassle.

There is a slight gamble, but its like a 95% success rate on the Catleap/Shimian/etc... monitors. Much rather have 27" 2560x1440 display.

eh, not quite. http://www.overclock.net/t/1215866/reviewed-400-2560x1440-ips-no-ag-90hz-achieva-shimian-qh270-and-catleap-q270 The shimian is roughly a 28% defective rate and the catleap is around 16% coming from the user poll. In addition, no warranty and lots of users noting issues a couple months after purchase turned me away...but if you do get a solid working panel than it is 100% worth it.

That poll is bogus. Most people didn't vote.

just like people and reviews. its more likely someone will post negatively just to vent their frustration rather to say that item is good.
