The 7300 GT has a 64-bit Windows and Linux driver, they really can't make one for Apple? I find it stunning my MacBook Pro from mid-2007 is outliving the Mac Pro from the same time period that I used to lust over.
I'm not sure.

man i really hope this doesnt set a precedent for apple. maybe they just want to cut down on the resellability of macs and force people to buy new more?

I've thought about it but I've already upgraded the ram once and I'm about to give my mom my laptop and go for the rMBP here soon.

Ah okay, I see. I'm going to put 8GB into my mum's 2010 MacBook Pro as it pages a lot too.

This will be my mom's first computer and she's nearing 60. RAM is the least of her worries biggrin.gif

All of the people complaining here, I would love to see you start an uproar about Steam cutting off support for Windows XP by the end of next month wink.gif.

Same here... unless you count my 10 year old Acer laptop which sits in a bag. I wonder how many years it'll last... you know I overclocked it once? Got up to 1556MHz from 1.3GHz on its single core processor thumb.gif
