It amuses me the people who don't include the monitor and OS when OP clearly stated in the 3rd post that these items are required lol

I'd have to say..If one doesn't overclock..the upper-end pentiums are best bang for buck..
too bad they're locked

When I started..ALL chips were unlocked..You went into BIOS..then did a key combo to get to CMOS..and it
was ON..133Mhz baby! w00t w00t :

Yeah well when I first OC'd you had to move jumpers on the MB and the chips were 33/66 fsb

^ You're inflicting a massive performance bottleneck due to the RAM choice... that needs to be replaced with DDR3-1866 right away. APUs are bandwidth intensive. You need DDR3-1866 or you are losing a huge percentage of A10-5800k performance. You're effectively getting the performance of a first-gen A6 APU, not a second-gen A10 APU.

Also, avoid necro-bumping threads. New topics for new threads, please.
