Sabertooth BIOS being wierd.

Just installed my new sabertooth and its being real buggy on HDMI settings.
When I first start my computer up I have to wait a good minute or two for the Asus thing to pop up (which is odd) when it finally comes up its only for a second then goes black screen, then re pops up,then when I go into the bios the screen flickers and it clips off the edges and the top. Is there a bios update I need to fix this?

AMD phenom ii x4 965 (haven't even got to OC it yet ; _ wink.gif
8 gigs of ripjaw ram
7200 rpm 500g HDD
750w corsair psu

Also it takes FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOREVER for computer to start up now compared to my Biostar motherboard any ideas to make start up time faster?

Are you saying that this only occurs when it is hooked up via HDMI, but not via DVI or VGA?

Nope didnt work but now when the screen flicks black I can see it says something like, "Sata drivers not detected" ,and a bunch of other stuff appears but half gets cut off because 1920x1080 doesn't work on bios for me ; - ;

hdmi are you going out to a tv? or monitor.
usually when the bios takes a while its looking for something you turned on in bios that you dont have hooked up or operationg correctly.
latest video card drivers? possibly corrupted drivers? or windows default drivers?
I had that issue of oversized dos window on a different motherboard until i intsalled the correct drivers in windows for the card. Possibly i my driver was set to windows default of 800x600 or something like that. Im thinking that higher resolution would minimize the screen not oversize it.

Just trying to stay close to what you said and throwing out ideas.
what video card / monitor.
oh and good luck i love this motherboard. So easy to do a automatic overclock and it ramps up nicely with the correct settings. Truckerguy seems to have his act together in this dept. was very helpful to me in picking out board and solving issues. IMHO. thumb.gif
