The Silencer MK III is a great line and are rebranded Seasonic units. Check out this thread and it will give you a nice long list of quality power supplies that will work great. Just check out the 700-799 section and aim for a 750 watt.

Wow the recommended PSU list finally got updated. For $60 the MK II's not bad, but yea the Seasonic MK II's and MK III's > Highpowers

I was pleasantly surprised as well. The only issue is that a lot of those power supplies are no longer available on Newegg and should probably be removed.

OCZ power supply recommendation? See sig mad.gif Damn replacement bricked (idling same as its predecessor) 10 weeks after replacement, 2 weeks after the end of the original warranty. Still too pissed off to contact them about RMA without going off on one sozo.gif £30 to send the original back to them, two send backs is replacement PSU territory. Suffering not a happy bunny syndrome sozo.gif

edit: reading the http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies/0_100 thread, looking for a recommendation and the ZS750W is recommended doh.gif that was the RMA replacement!

Bad luck I suppose. Check out some reviews. It's still a good power supply.

I've listed everything in one go, linking took multiple sessions. :)
The initial list was removed completely and this was created from scratch, I left out pretty much all worthwhile discontinued units, including some popular ones like the Rosewill 80+ Green. I was also tempted to leave out the Strider Gold series from Silverstone and the Modu87+/Pro87+ series from Enermax, they're still available on most major markets but that should change soon, we'll see.

I know people are talking about brand this and brand that = better quality. I have an Ultra 600W that I got a good deal on 5+ years ago and it is still running like a champ. Don't get me wrong, I got a good deal on a HX1050 as a backup or at least until I decide to strip down and rebuild...lol

I think your next task is going to be organizing the rig into Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and 80+ sections within each of the wattage sections.
