Switching out PSUs. - Page 3

Nope, I find efficiency to be a poor criteria for segmentation, it usually gets associated with quality and overall performance and that's simply not the case, there are Bronze units in that list that are superior to most Gold units of similar output(Signature 650 for example).
The list will keep its current format, creating various other categories based on performance metrics such as efficiency or output quality and stability will only make it less usable and rather confusing. I want this to be equally usable by those that know nothing about PSUs as well as knowledgeable individuals who want to educate themselves further.

I just got the Corsair AX850,yesterday, but it broke(a loud pop while I was playing a game), after the pop nothing happened, so I just kept playing and then turned the pc off, and now it won't turn on.

I thought the AX series were supposed to be reliable, probably a fluke, guess I'm RMAing it.

since I kept on playing after the pop, does that mean that my mobo, cpu, graphics are okay?
