Yeah I was very disappointed that MSFT XBOX team removed the FLOOD parasitic alien gangs from Halo 3: ODST & Halo: Reach after Halo 3. Plus Master Chief got killed by Their forces include Elites at Halo: Reach. MSFT and Bungie team are disgrace to loyal fans of halo.

Why not 343 Industries example How did it bring Master Chief back from Halo: Reach corpse into re-form life of Halo 4?

Halo 3: ODST & Halo: Reach were a weak games since removed the FLOOD parasitic alien gangs and Master Chief. thats why I started stop a fan of Halo since Hal0 3. I can see these Halo 3: ODST & Halo: Reach games MSFT & Bungie team made a big profit as CASH COW!

Stop posting, please. Halo: Reach did NOT have Master Chief in it, he was honestly in it as an easter egg in a split second at the very end. If you payed attention to the story at all, you would notice that there is not ONE single time that anyone even said Master Chief in the entire game, so how you thought that Master Chief was in that game is beyond me. Second now, Reach took place BEFORE Halo 1. Reach was a human military stronghold planet that eventually got glassed by the Covenant.

Now in ODST, it was just a simple expansion. It was showing the story of an ODST squad and how they survived the covenant in New Mombassa. Thats it. It was just tossed in to get another perspective of the war.

The reason why the Flood are not in Reach is because, according to the Halo timeline, they haven't even discovered its existence yet. Technically, they still haven't even found a Halo ring yet. In ODST, the flood aren't there because the Flood have not reached Earth yet. If they DID reach Earth, the story would be over. Theres nothing left to fight for.

Trailer seems quite cool actually, not a big fan of Halo (mostly hate the fanboys) but the trailer is good, would love a movie / series like that, good ol' sci-fi.

don't forget about how Captian Keyes was standing there ready to take Cortana off of Noble Six's hand's while in Halo 1 he perishes by the flood after discovery of the Flood so that was a strong indication of Halo: Reach being a prequel to 1 biggrin.gif

The only thing that disappointed me is when I found out John, Fred, Linda, and all the Spartans from the first book weren't the kids. At least this movie will make you care about the new characters in the game. Introducing them before the game release in such a manner and linking them to John goes to show that 343 cares about the diehard fans.

That is why Reach and ODST have such terrible stories. They introduced nobodies, that aren't appealing or interesting. Switching between perspectives as often as you do, ruins the flow and buildup into what could have been a good story. Im glad Bungie doesn't have the rights anymore, Activision can have them.

Halo 1-3 has an epic enjoyable story. It was like reading a page turner, you can't stop playing. You need to know what happens next. Every character is enjoyable and interesting. They are so well done that you pursue books and other media to find out more about them.


Reach and ODST were good for multiplayer, everything else was atrocious and terrible.
