It is possible that the higher density sticks require more IMC voltage as well. Give it a try with the 1.35V and let us know.

Ok I contacted Corsair and they told me to contact Asus. I contacted Asus and they told me to RMA. This is a real **** it will take an eternity because my motherboard is quite old, I will waste my time and money to ship it and I lost money for my new RAM too (that is not working with my board). HUGE ****

I had the same problem with XMP, disabling it and setting my timings and speed manually fixed it. I also increased the DRAM voltage by 0.010 just to be on the safe side.


Looking over XMP settings appeared to be correct for the RAM, but it still didn't work for me.

Just for kicks have you tried reseating your CPU cooler?Remove the chip also. Make sure you don't tighten it too much when you reinstall it.
