thanks guys.. yeah its probably not worth the hassle at this point., i will work on it more when school starts next month.
I just went to Airgas and filled it. $2/L * 25L + $5 hazmat fee + sales tax = ~$50

I find Airgas and Praxair the worst for prices. They are pirates for DICE as well. I really need to find a dewar.

Airgas is great for me. I get my dice from a local grocery store (Kroger) for $1/lb.

I'll have to look into welding shops but for all I know the welding shops get their ln2 supply from airgas do I wouldn't get it any cheaper from them. I asked the guy at airgas about opening an account and he have me an app but I dunno if that will translate into a lower price per unit..

There is no such thing as a set price. Everyone pays different amounts for there LN2. If you were buying huge amounts it would be less then a buck a liter.
Even $2 is not that bad considering some places want $5 a liter.

But what it comes down to is you need to haggle and talk to people.

I may just be a Canadian thing, since I know that Airgas and Praxair both charge some pretty hefty enviromental fees. (Praxair charged me $2 for a bag to put the DICE in when they wouldn't just dump it in my cooler) The smaller/local guys don't charge the enviromental or handling fees or fees for handling the enviromental fees so it may be the prices are similiar.

Airgas used to quote me $4/L, but after hooking up with clepto now I'm paying $1.10/L and I got lucky also with my $100 shipped 30L dewar
