Just installed Windows Vista 64-bit

I just installed Windows Vista as a dual-boot on my desktop, and I must say, I quite like it Maybe I'm just a sucker for slick UI's, but the operating system seems very nice to me. They have added some nice security functions, and it installed working drivers for everything on my computer exept my sound card, and the Creative beta drivers for that worked fine.

I am having some audio problems with WarCraft III, and Microsoft has not release a Vista-compatible version of their IntelliType/IntelliPoint software yet, but thats what you get for using beta software, I guess. Oh well, thats why I am dual-booting

So, does 64bit version actually run faster on the 32bit Intel's with the 64 bit instruction set?

Well, seeing as I have not used the 32-bit version yet, I cant report on the speed diferance. I am installing the 32-bit version as I type this, so I can give you guys a comparison. The reason I am switching to the 32-bit is because WarCraft III has a problem with audio that is fixed by a driver that only works on the 32-bit version of Vista Other then that, I had no problems relating to the 64-bit aspect.

If I had enough room on my hard drive, I would tripple-boot 64 and 32 bit Vista with XP, but I dont :/ My boss is a Microsoft partner, and if I get the chance I plan to talk with him about 32-bit vs. 64-bit Vista and the pros and cons.

64BIT adressing will be faster as more data can be processed at any one time.

It really makes a difference on a 32-bit CPU though?
