Why you guys still bothering to flash this?? It does nothing. If you want 1050/1500, open up Overdrive/AB?etc.

maybe because now my card is at those clocks without relying on a piece of software to keep the clocks there, if i reformat windows there go my overclocks.

Also i dont like messing with 3rd party software, and it appears that the limits for overclocking have been increase in the CCC.

Overdrive is 3rd party?? Wow, you have overclock limits in Overdrive that you will never reach lol. Awesome.

I don't know about other people, but the flash actually raised my overclock limits a good bit. Went from 1600 memory stable to 1800 memory stable (no, its not error correcting either). Also got 1200 core stable finally, which I couldn't do before.

well it lowers my default voltages with a higher default clock speed , and i need less voltages for higher overclock speeds

Obviously i was referring to AB being 3rd party.

Also, i maxed the ccc before on stock volts so the increase is welcome

nice try though

Would this void your warranty? Do you think the manufacturer would be able to tell if the card eventually just died?

I tried my Gigabyte Windforce card and the flash was successful, but the drivers crapped out. I was getting bsod's at startup and when i finally got it to start, Windows said it didn't recognize the card and that the drivers didn't work with the card i had. After trying to make it work for 18 hours, i gave up and flashed my old bios back onto the card. Did anyone have success with a Gigabyte card?
