Did you find any bios that worked on your card? Its still a reference card and those are easier to flash than non-reference.

Umm, yeah, you just downloaded my BIOS off my card. tongue.gif I just used the exe in the first post, but it doesn't always work for everyone.

What happens if you CHANGE your voltage via MSI AB? Does it change under load as well?

What is a safe voltage for this card? I don't want to burn out the card, that is why i don't normally mess with volts blushsmiley.gif

You're safe as high as software will allow, so long as you keep it cool enough. I ran 1.30v on my reference cooler with no problems at all, with 100% fan speed (leaf blower status). It really doesn't matter to be honest, you'll be unstable due to temperatures long before voltages are dangerous. These cards will generally start artifacting over 1150Mhz on the core once you get into the 70*C range, which is perfectly safe. They just don't LIKE being that warm at that high of a speed.

Thats good to know smile.gif

Just one question, would 45-60 Celsius with 60-65% fan speed on MSI kombustor be average? I'm just afraid of running a little hot with these new bios because i haven't really tested them fully yet.

And i just set it to 1.3v and its reading correctly in MSI AB whilst I'm testing it in Kombustor. Everything seems to be working fine.

You're safe up to like 90*C. It's just that when you're going for a really high overclock (over 1150MHz or so), they tend to get unstable over around 65-70*C or so. The higher you go, the colder the card is going to want to stay.
