That is a pretty impressive temp @ 4 ghtz. I'm gonna take a shot and say you aren't running a stock cooler like me.biggrin.gif

Well had a quick play around with FSBs (havent had a proper look at SiSandra yet).

Wow I can break 9.2Gb/s with the ram at 1104 MHz and CPU at 3.8Ghz. The system is no way stable at this speed, but stable enough to run Maxxmem:

3.6GHz


3.7GHz


3.8GHz


I think 1104Mhz (FSB207) is the limit of the ram, at FSB208 I start getting errors and BSODs, and I'm not willing to raise the voltage to 2.4V, too risky.

I might try and use a lower multi and higher FSB so I can keep the ram around 1100, but keep pushing the NB up.

Those are impressive scores with DDR2 Mongen. One thing you may want to try is setting it to 1t instead of 2t. In most cases you will get a bit higher with it at 1t.

Nah wouldnt boot with 1T. Dropping TRc is also quite effective and got me over the 9GB/s line. Make sure it is about CL + tRAS + 2 for best performance.

Whats up with the version of CPUz these days? All the FSBs are mucked up:

Ya, I have had RAM that did not like to run 1t also. Thought you may not have tried it, but is sounds like you are covering all of the bases with the RAM timings. I have been having the same issues with CPUz. I have quit using it completely and just use AMD Overdrive to see all my settings. I like having almost everything in one program with AOD. If they had a RAM benchmark like MaxxMem on it I would probably just use it for about everything when I want to see my system's setup and performance.
