Folding and Clusters...

So, new to all of this, but I have this idea about clustering compys together and folding.....I have a Beowulf idea kinda in my head but not sure about it. I have 2 dell precision servers, with xenons and a head pc, so i figure thats all i need pc wise.... any suggestions for the noob?

I'm not sure if clustering will help in a distributed computing environment...however I'm no expert on clustering... Anyone else?

I think it had been determined in the past here that it would be ineffective due to the latency between nodes.

This is what I was going to say. I've seen people bring this up for years but when it comes to having multiple computers hooked up in a Beowolf cluster it tends to have a lot of issues with latency. I know more and more people go with multiple processor boards and see amazing performance but that's about it.
