I never much used OpenOffice but it feels a lot smoother. Boot times are excellent and looks great. Has most of the features if not all of the features of MS, so why pay unless it's mission critical e.g. in a business environment.

I like it a lot though. Feels very snappy.

Yes. Any piece of software purchased once on the Mac App Store can be installed any number of Macs you own without every paying again. Everything from the operating system down to any .99 cent app. I hope MS offers Office 13 through the app store but I doubt it'll happen. It would be a great way for them to sell it though, they'd make a killing.

It kind of reminds me of MS Office 2003. Its not nearly as pretty as Office 2007 or 2010, but still very nice and gets the job done. Great for us college students who don't want to spend money biggrin.gif
