Respectable Gaming Laptop $900 or 730 Euros Max

l was supposed to buy an Asus G74SX BBK7 But that did not end so well as I will be in germany I can order a laptop from there potentially, and I have found one that seems to be respectable...

My Limit is $900, thats all I can spend.

The two models I have noted thusfar are:

http://www.xoticpc.com/force-16ga-msi-16ga-p-4707.html
and
http://www.mysn.de/detail.asp?bestellnr=M4S_XMG_A521&KategorienOrder=010;170;010&userid=79A5A57C5FBD4C5DBD491FE7BB374E10&

Upgrading 2nd to Bluray drive, 500GB hdd, and i5 puts it to 723 Euros.

Any other recommendations or suggestions would be awesome, trying to aim for the best combination of GPU/CPU. RAM does not matter, that is a cheap side upgrade and I have no screensize preference

Are you already in Germany? If so than Sager international shipping will push you well over that limit. MySN's a topnotch builder... probably the best in the country but their prices are higher than US ones with VAT and all that.

Are you happy with the 540m benchmarks? Some would call it less than respectable for gaming tongue.gif

I will be there starting the 18th, I noticed the XMG 502 can have a US keyboard (but I dont know what can justify the 60 euro increase for a i3 + 650M vs i5 + 540m), meaning it is a Clevo body but I am unsure if the 521 is the same deal as the option is not there... I dont need something insanely good, my baby is the desktop but something portable that can run things decently (Just Mabinogi, Vindictus, etc) will be fine so I think the 540M would be decent, or I could wait a month and live with a Single core cheapy acer and intel gma from 2011, Why AMD brought TF back into existence beats me but it will not run autoCAD or anything for sure.

Eh, I'd wait until you're back. You can get a W150ERQ from Larry at LPC or whoever for $900 shipped without a BR drive. Just so long as you don't live in California where taxes are applied!

Ordered a SAGER NP6175 (Clevo W170ER?) i7 upgrade, With LPC-Digitals Max discount + cash it was like $939 off 1,009. $250 shipped to germany, but the epicness will have to take awhile to build anyways.

Neat, from what I've read it's a great laptop. I'd recommend flashing Prema's bios when it arrives!
