Damn. Need to find some company willing to make some blocks for this thing. EK's website tool also they have no plans.

You might have to go the custom route

Any suggestions on where to start if I wanted to go that route?

26 vrm stages, or some non-sense number. The point is it's gonna run cool and a block is really only for bling.

Single run items are prohibitively expensive if done professionally, and if diy will be fairly diificult.

'Prohibitively' is relative. smile.gif

I'll check it out. If I find someone that will do some, perhaps I can find a handful of OCN'ers planning on getting this board also, and we could make a bigger buy....making it a little cheaper.

I just called Asrock again, the price remains the same. At first the gentleman said in two weeks, but I told him I was told this Wednesday. He double checked and confirmed now Thursday or Friday on Newegg, but definitely this week and the price is definitely set in stone @ $599.99 MSRP. I inquired about Amazon, he said TBA, as it will depend on demand

Strap a a northbridge block on that X79 (or perhaps jury rig a GPU one, as these have hose connectors on the side so would fit better under the cards)
LL

And then find something for the VRM's, perhaps an old X1800 VRM block would fit or you might have to get something custom if you dont want to break the existing VRM heatsinks for running water through these, if you are willing then perhaps, if the heatpipe is empty inside (it usually is) you might be able to to run some water through it.
LL
That is ATI x1800 VRM block on GA-870A-USB3, as you can see the holes are not aligned properly in there and there are some chokes in the way so cant install it tilted as well. If you are looking for something on the lines of "do it yourself" it would be possible to get 3 - 5 mm thic copper plate and make somekind of middle mounting bracket for getting some not exactly fitting thing to fit.

Then again if you are getting Extreme 11 you probably have also enough money to get a custom block made. If not then you can mix and match the bits to save some dollars for "good enough" results.
