The other suggestion I have is to examine your business model very carefully. Most cafes fail, and computer cafes usually fail and you lose more money when they do. How is the revenue stream generated with the Gaming rigs? It would take the profit from thousands of cups of coffee just to break even on a $500 rig, and how long is the lifespan of these computers? 2 years? Maybe 3? If these are being used enough to actually turn a profit they will also be taking a serious beating. I have always liked the idea of computer cafes, but every one I have ever seen has failed.

The concept of a LAN cafe down here is something different; as a matter of fact, I would dare say there is no concept about it yet, that is why there's a market opportunity and you can shape it as you like..
Problem with being picky about systems is that it really doesn't matter what you try to import, as duty taxes will probably be the same for x or y system.. Customs here are a mess and are all but regulated..

Do you have a specific price you're trying to hit? Or just generally looking for longevity?
I should also mention that having spare ram, power supplies and even motherboards doesn't hurt anything, especially so if they're all going to be generic or low-end

Is somehow difficult to answer that question, but the budget limit ends when an AAA game performance is maxed out at 1080P at some decent framerate, whether it's a CPU heavy game like SC2 or GPU heavy like BF3.. Nothing above that is needed.. By the time new games come out, I can always [hopefully] expand, get new hardware, and use the old HW for spares or as additional low end machines..

I got plenty of spares at home, that shouldn't be a problem, but point taken..
