GTX 680 SLI Low usage an more

Hello,

I'm currently overclocking 2x Zotac GTX 680 4GB.
It seems stable for now at +140 +300 (1250/3305)

When i run Heaven, The GPU usage starts off good, but after about 20 secs the second card's usage stays between 50/70%.
Its also not underclocking itself. The same thing happened to me in BF3 singleplayer.

The temps are good, the first card doesn't go above 70c and the second doesn't go over 60, but i am using custom fanspeeds.

Also is it normal when the second card boosts to 1199(max) while the first one boosts to 1250(max) ?
and i see that there is automatic voltage adjusting of max 11.75mv, is it safe?

I am using the latest. 304.79

I just played some BF3, full server on karkand, and the GPU usage on both cards varied between 56 to 80's
But what happened to the 99/99% scaling? as i used to have on my GTX 570's.

The fps was good though, never dipped below 60fps.

I'm actually trying to understand how these cards work.

For an explanation how they (the clocks) work, see the first link in my sig.

Yes, the non-equal max boost clock on each is normal. They just have a different 'Kepler Boost' from each other.

<99% usage where you used to get it before w/570's *could* be due a CPU bottleneck depending on the scenario (where you didn't have one before). Or if you use to not get 60fps, but you'd get way >60 now, but you have v-sync on. Or somethings messed up ... a maxed out heaven at a higher resolution should certainly run at 99% on both cards ... assuming SLI is properly enabled, teh SLI bridge is all good, etc.

I just found out.

I was running Heaven when i alt-tabbed to lower the memory clock since it was giving me artifacts at +300. when i alt-tabbed back into the benchmark, the second card started to get bad GPU usage.

kinda weird isn't it?

Ok, so i just found out that when i go higher than +110, the usage starts to drop on card2 in heaven.

Whats causing this?

Im having the same issue with my Gtx-680 SLI. The power usage stays around 60-80 on each card and I only get around 1600 score. This is with no overclocks an the latest drivers. Any help?
