The Yin and Yang

A white build and a black build, one liquid cooled and one air-cooled but both of equal components.

Unfortunately, the black was sent back for RMA, but a new one should arrive back in a couple weeks...

We are going to start with the white case...

Starting the dis-assembly:

Well guys..was going to have a full update for you, but I have a partial update instead...

Got up early and ran to the big box hardware store to pick up these...

Next up I needed to remove the motherboard tray so I can make a few cutouts that are necessary...(notice that it is riveted in with silver rivets...)

This isn't exact, but am cutting this area out so I can get the modular cables in...

Going to cut the top out too...Between the CPU cooler backplate and the mSATA SSD, I'm going to need the clearance...

So next up was to start the top cut...I went and grabbed my trusty Bosch jigsaw, plugged her in and devil.gif! Needless to say I was very cryingsmiley.gif as I have had this particular saw for about 10 years...The good news is that it gave me an excuse to order this and this! Unfortunately, it won't be in until Monday, so I won't be able to complete this particular part of the project until then doh.gif.

In the meantime, I gave a bit of thought to the sleeving and came up with this...

Anyways..tomorrow I'll start getting the measurements done for the hot-swap bays so I can have that little bit ready when the jigsaw arrives...xD
