Did you get the new BOOST version that has the HD7970 PCB? The regular ICEQ2 version isn't HD7970 PCB.

Found some nice photos of Boost version PCB of the card from TPU. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/HIS/HD_7950_X2_Boost/3.html

Looks like a great card. How does it over clock for you? Are you going to water cool it?

Don't really care for the color of the PCB but looking at everything else about that card it looks extremely well made. Very nice.

Yup. This is the place where we can swap ideas on how to get the most out of our cards. Good luck with your new card. TF3 HD7950 with HD7970 PCB is a solid performer.


Best thing that I like about this card is that it is compatible with many well made HD7970 water blocks.

Yes its the new boost, It seems to overclock very nicely but I RMA'd it because it had an obnoxious ticking noise at idle frown.gif

Probably a problem with the fan. Bummer. PCB looks awesome. Would have fun water cooling it and over clocking.
