P8Z77-I Deluxe. 8 phases for CPU, 2 for GPU. There are a few ITX cases that will accept a standard ATX PSU (read: Bitfenix Prodigy, Silverstone Sugo SG07/08)

Aw, that's disappointing. I was looking forward to potentially doing an AMD build, but looks like it'll be Ivy again.

That would be a pretty big task to even match sandy. Although it doesn't need to. AMD is not in the super performance market, and has not been for awhile, they are king of the low to mid budget builds. That's there nitch.

I wish AMD would directly compete with Intel's i5 and i7's as competition makes both company's better. As it stands when your 8 core chip can be spanked by a 4 core not good, step your game up.

If it matches SB, it'll match IB. The difference between the two is negligible.

I like seeing people say this, it only proves how much they know about the Bulldozer architecture. It was built to be a quad core in mind, the four extra integer cores are to only counter Intel's hyperthreading. Even tho AMD didn't market it exactly as such, its still suppose to be that way (I guess AMD wanted the 8 core title). This is why it has all the inner workings of a quad core, with four extra integer cores tacked on. This is so the processor has 8 logical threads (more power then any Intel quad core i7 can deliver). The only problem is AMD's core performance is lacking so bad that even with the extra cores it doesn't match to Intel's offerings. Keep in mind the current Bulldozers are slower then Nehalem. If AMD could match Intel's core performance, Intel would be in a world of hurt by Bulldozer architecture.

Well said. I think part of the 8-core label was to draw consumers in, because to the AVERAGE consumer (i.e, people who know enough to build a PC but not enough to know better), more cores automatically equals faster.
