Guys, they just ~announced~ it.
Look at the damn date.
"Access to the exclusive beta will be available in Autumn 2013, and further details on Battlefield 4 will be revealed at a later date, said EA."
Autumn 2013. That means, judging by the BF3 alpha and beta, we won't be seeing BF4 until early 2014.
Stop freaking out, like usual. Never ceases to amaze me - over 28 pages of OMG YEARLY RELEASES.
Did anyone pay any attention to the span between BF:BC2 and BF3? No, everyone was so busy fighting over BF3 vs MW3 that no one cared. Now they're doing it again, but this time no one has anything to fight about like MW4.

It still says something about how they're approaching this that they release BF3, then Premium, then announce MOH, which if you pre-order will give you access to BF4, etc. It gives the impression of the same old EA BS money-making / quality, innovation, who needs it? McDonaldsization approach to producing content. It definitely doesn't give the impression that their intention with BF4 is to be innovative and new (especially if it's on the same engine) and thoughtfully constructed, etc. (Again compare with Valve).
It sounds to me like they're pushing out easily-producible junk (Premium map packs) then more easily-producible junk (MOH on Frostbite 2) and then more easily-producible junk (BF4 apparently also on Frostbite 2?) about as fast as they can to hook gamers and constantly milk them for more money with ever-new (but ever-mundane) content.
Anyone actually think this ISN'T what they're doing?
