Amnesia can be modded, it's made by a company far smaller than DICE and EA. Call of duty 4 and W@W have mod tools and their map packs are free too, they come with the patches (PC version only). Look at Skyrim, too. that can be modded to hell and back. But oh no, DICE would financially struggle if they made mod tools for it.
Alot of companies are killing of mod support, as it competes with their dlc sales. DICE is not the only company to do this, before people scream consolization look at CA the makers of total war. Total War is a PC exclusive franchise but ever since Empire there has been no mod support for their games, also since Empire they have started to release DLC units and campaigns, coincidence anyone? Did you see the responses to the dawnguard thread on here? People crying im not gonna buy this, mods have better content. I think thats proof of mods impacting dlc sales.
I really dont get the complaints on here people do not want a bf 4 so soon but they dont want dlc either, they want the shipped game with no new content what so ever to be played forever. Mod tools are actually a thing of the past, I like mods but a game not having mods is not a non purchase for me.
