are these upgrades worth it??

hey guys, i currently have a x4 955 and a hd 6970 with 4gb ram and 2.5tb hdd. so i was wondering if the upgrades i want to buy (screenshot below) are worth it. i play gta iv with icehancer and other demanding games too and wanna max out all of them on 60fps. some games i like to play are gta iv + EFLC, max payne 3, metro 2033, crysis series, battlefield 3 and CoD series. PS i have a 24 inch LG 1080p monitor. And i will not be overclocking the cpu to its limits, maybe a little but not much as i want the pc to last me a while. i have a 1000 dollar budget, and as you can see i am approximately there, a bit over though. Thanks

First off, you have slected nice components.

However, I think you find them way cheaper if you looked around a little more.

I would suggest a 2500K for gaming as it still isn't slowed down by any game and with your hyper+ 212 yopu could OC it to 4.5 easily.

Also I would suggest a cheaper more reliable ASRock Mobo and a more reliable and POSSIBLY cheaper Crucial M4

Not sure if that PSU you have selected is modular, if it is then go for it. If it isnt then I would suggest looking into a modular one just to make it easier for you to manage cables.

If you want any help finding components or have any questions let me know thumb.gif

It would be a pretty sweet upgrade, but the prices do seem a bit steep.... especially the power supply. I don't know where you are located but prices in stores like Microcenter are much better than that, or if you can order from Newegg.com.....

thanks for the replies guys, umm i live in melbourne so no newegg or microcentre. i might be able ot find the parts cheaper, but then ill have to go all around melbourne, which is fine if the prices are significantly cheaper. and for the ssd, can you tell me one of these ssd http://www.msy.com.au/default.jsp?category=15 or somewhere else if the place is reliable but the one which is below 70 dollars, cause i do wanna save money wherever possible, thats why i will try to get these components cheaper (this was just a draft). thanks

EDIT:
I found a patriot pyro 60gb ssd for the same price on msy. is this ssd any better than agility 3???
