hello,
is the mobo a 8+1 power phase board please?
i have a simular problem with my other mobo,i have tested the cpu and it runs dual channel on my new board.the 8 for the cpu and the 1 for the memory controller and that might be the issue,i did have my older mobo running dual channe for a long time before it statred bsoding and i was not sure if it was the cpu,ram or mobo until now.
i did run in ganged mode and it seemed to work like that, apparently it make very little difference to the ram if you use ganged mode, but they also say it dont like ganaged mode, odd hu?
my older mobo is a asus m4a78t-e and its very good, just i need to have another look in to its problem
another idea is check the bios issue number,if it not the one that was installed when it was made,it might have caused the problem?
