What toasts my nuts is shouldn't an advanced board tell you "X is happening"?

It can tell me if peripherals are not working but itself or a component of itself?

Update:

Reflashed.

Did the "updating backup bios" thing. But much slower.

And..... Loaded the OS!!

I thank you gentlemen. Before I turn it off, will I have to update or save anything?

And something else of note... at the bottom right, the icon pop up bar for running programs.. there is nothing there. I hope that fixes itself after a restart.
