Windows device manager will tell you if windows already had one for it, wouldnt hurt to update it though. Should be under display Tab, let windows do it. If there isnt one to be found by windows then theres no worries your display will just use autodetect settings for refesh rate

Hello,

My problem is that when I use the windows update, or even just look at the specs of my display (2720MDP) I only see "generic pnp monitor".
Do you have the same, or does windows recognise the monitor as an Crossover ...
The thing is, I only have up to 1080p in the resolutions to choose from... I have an HDMI cable and I will try with a VGA this evening (as my asus W90 laptop doesn't have any other outputs).
The thing about the driver is that I'm not sure yet if it's driver related (that I can't go over 1080p), or if it's my HDMI cable or even my HD4850 2X from my laptop that is limiting me (it's not a mobile version, it's a genuin HD4850 in crossfire that they have implemented in the laptop).

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot

Ok, I got my answer.

No drivers needed; PnP (Plug & Play) is working fine.

Just tried with VGA and my W90 (Asus laptop) is running 2560x1440 fine.

Have a nice day
